Elite 92 Recipes in ABS

Tomorrow, there will be elite 92 Recipes of armors.

At first, I was excited, but then, I realized, it's a recipe. I still need to craft it. What are the ingredients?

Siren's Scale x 1
High Quality Cloth x 100
Mega Etretanium x 50
Mega Ionium x 50
Triumph Filler x 10

Aside from that, you need the veteran characters who make the armor:
Aldred has a Andre Janzur - he can craft the leather armor, robes and coats
Idge - I don't know anyone who has an Idge Imbrulia. She can craft leather armors and metal armors.
So, with his knowledge, how can you make profit from it?

Someone with Idge used to make crafting services for a fee.
You can also expect the prices of Siren's Scale, Seeds of Rafflesia and Archangel's Heart to go up.
Mega Ores too.
Triumph Fillers will also go up.

Warning: Selling in MM as Feso
I sold one fake unique at the MM thinking that the price was Feso. It was quickly bought because I listed it as vis, instead of feso.

Using 2 Temporary Stance Rings in the Fesos shop

Can you put two temporary stance rings on?

For example, two temporary marionette rings.

Or two domination fire rings.

That would mean 600,000 fesos.

If that's possible, then it would be super imba, yes?

50 chips and no good stats

My friend just spent 50 chips to stat his elite elementalist.

He got no DR.

It's like gambling. Similar to a slot machine. You put in the chip, which is shaped like a coin, and then if you're lucky, you'll hit the jackpot with DR3.

Note to self: just buy armors and weapons that are already made to save you the stress and waste of spending chips and enhancement boosters. Of course, doing so would be expensive.

How Socketing Works, and Fesos

Socketing, I think this is how it works.

There is no risk of breaking your item until you get it to have it's first socket with a stat.

So let's say, you got a great jewel, also known as a rumin, and you bring it to Claire to socket your weapon. You can use use that jewel and still fail in getting your weapon's first socket, but you can try again. The only thing is, you just lost your rumin. So, you can try again and again until you get your weapon's first socket with a stat without fearing that your weapon will break. Now the problem is, of course you want the first stat to be one of the greatest stats available, but there's no guarantee of a successful socket, thus you might end up wasting a lot of great rumins just to get your weapon's first socket.

Now suppose you succeed. Your weapon now has it's first socket with a stat, and you want another one. You have to understand that since you are trying to get a second stat in your weapon, if the socketing fails, your weapon will break. We want to avoid that. Thankfully, you can put up to three jewels in the hopes that one of them succeeds. Well, actually, that may be a bane, because what you might do is put three great rumins in there and only one will succeed, and in effect, you just wasted two great rumins. But what if you're really unlucky and you just placed three rumins and you still failed. You just broke your weapon and lost three great rumins. IMC, in their infinite wisdom and shrewdness, has presented forth a solution to such predicament. Buy a flux. With the use of the Socket Processing Tranquilizer, if socketing fails, the item's first stat doesn't disappear and you get to keep the jewels you used. Great, isn't it.

Now suppose you are really lucky and you get two sockets in your weapon and you want a third one. You can gamble and try to socket it again, but if it fails and you use a flux, your weapon only keeps the first stat.

So far, by looking at what stats the different jewels give, it seems the one that gives Crit +7 is good. That's the Great Bloodstone. The Great Spodumene also looks good. It has a funny name, andn it gives Penetration +6. Both are from red ores. I still haven't figured out which monsters give the red ores.

On to other new things.

They have new tournaments in Sword of the New World. The categories are: 20-35, 36 to 50, 51 to 67, 68 to 83, 84 to 99, and 100 above. As you may have noticed, veterans and experts are pitted in the same category.

I think it's great because what I would do is train a trio of characters to level 35, 50, 67, 83 and 99 so that I have a team ready for all categories.

I'm not online all the time, and I may forget the schedule for the tournament, but by having teams on the ready, then I can participate more in the tournament ^_^ (The prize isn't very attractive though. It's one Andre's box. I don't really like costumes.)

In the feso shop, what's not included are enhancement boosters, lucifer wings and mystery powders, among others. What are included are return sheets (for Angie), hrin's potions, triumph fillers, hermes potions, soul crystals (so I guess you could also get Irawan) and...

Stance rings: do they give extra concentration or extra elemental blessing? What would you buy? A stance ring costs 300,000 fesos. But with that amount, you can buy more than one of the other items.

There are three stones that can be exchanged for Fesos.

These are the sunstone, moonstone and the earthstone.

The moonstone is the one that can be bought using G-Points.

In the US Sword of the New World, US$1 is equal to 100 gold, which is then equal to 100,00 fesos. So, let's look at the Game Value Card counterpart in SG Granado Espada. A 750 G-Points game value card costs roughly US $1.

So maybe the 750 GVC is equal to 100,000 fesos?

As for the sunstone and the monstone, I think the sunstone gives 10,000 fesos while the earthstone gives 100,000 fesos.

I gathered this information from AM-Neume. I really the GM in Sword of the New World. He's really active and communicates with the players. AM-Neume gives a sense of transparency with what's going on.

Also, I learned that Intel Capital, the investment arm of Intel, the makers of computer chips, had invested in K2, the ones who handles Sword of the New World in the States.

So maybe that's why they are organized and professional, because they report to a big company like Intel who invested in them.

Other notes: Calypso is out. Hmm, I thought she was Calyce. Pets too (just grabbermon I guess), and the apprentice system for squadding with lowbies. Bellem Boxes can now be bought from an NPC too.

Legit Botting and soon, legit RMT?

So the pets are legit botting in a sense. Instead of subscribing to GE Crazy, just pay fesos for the pet food.

And then, over at Sword of the New World, while the GM did say that fesos will not be convertible to vis, he did mention that it might be in the future.

That would mean legit RMT.

And maybe that would stop granadomart and seagamer. Maybe, or maybe not. They would just offer more fesos or vis for the same price as a game value card.

But as of now, fesos is not planned to be convertible to white gold bars, so it won't be real money trade yet.

I wonder what will happen. Quitting players can sell their items for vis or fesos. If they choose fesos, then all the buyers need to do is buy game value cards and buy earthstones to buy fesos (as well as join the superfights). In turn, the quitting player then sells his fesos at a lower rate than the exchange rate for G-Points to fesos.

So let's say, US$1 is equal to 100 gold, which is equal to 100,000 fesos (and is equal to 3 million vis, but it was scrapped).

Now if you wanted to sell your fesos to another person, it would be $1 is equal to 50,000 fesos (just an assumption).

This is confusing me...

Let's run a simulation. I spend P50 and I get 750 G-Points. What would I do, will I spend that 750 G-points and buy Mystery Powders? I can get 3 mystery powders for that. Or I can exchange that for fesos. I don't know the exchange rate yet, so let's assume it's 100,000, since US$1 is equal to roughly P50. Then, I would buy weapons and armors. On the other hand, what if I exchange that P50 to my friend who has 50 million vis.

What if I'm the seller. I want to get rid of my unwanted equips, so I start selling them in market manager for feso. I sell my mysterious steel piece for 100,000 feso. Oops. MSP isn't 50m anymore. According to Anemone, it's 20m. So the reasonable feso price for an MSP is 50,000 probably...

Still too confusing to me...

What is Fesos and how do you get it? Plus Jewels.

In the next patch, Fesos would be introduced. It might not be released immediately after announcement of v2.9. It might be released later as part of a trickle of new things in v2.9.

As such, we can only speculate what fesos would be in the Singapore Granado Espada version of the game.

As by my understanding, you can get fesos by exchanging stones. I don't know what these stones are called yet.

There are several ways of getting stones.

Well, here is my first assumption. A way of getting fesos would be through paying 100 reputation points as entrance fee to enter super fights organized by Andre. I'm not sure what this super fight is. Maybe it's player versus player inside. Or maybe it's like a mission lobby. Or it could be both. There was mention, though, that even if your family is low level, you can still participate in super fights.

Inside, you can get stones that in turn can be exchanged for fesos.

I assume that even if you pay 100 reputation points to enter, you are not assured of getting the stones. Maybe whoever the winner is, that's the one who will get the stones.

Another way of getting stones would be inside the Forgotten Territory and the Ancient Territory. This is where you can get stones stones more. As a bit more speculation, there was also mention of a new premium dungeon. It could be a Bahamas dungeon.

And a third way would be to buy G-Points and convert it to fesos.

Aside from that, stones could be given away in events.

So, if you are a free to play player, it would be in your interest to start gaining reputation points so that you can join super fights.

But I think what you would get from the super fights would be a few stones only. Thus, few fesos.

Well, it is still a way of spending reputation points.

Might I also mention that before, you can also get reputation by clicking RNPC's, who were allegedly Panfilo, Diego, the Queen and so on.

And then you can change 1500 reputation points to get mission 4 stones. This was exploited by players. I don't know if the management did this on purpose. It was a way of getting good equipment allegedly.

But now, you can't click RNPC's anymore to get reputation points.

What provides reputation points now are quests and pioneering memorials.

Another way of spending reputation is through the socketing system. The socketing system involves getting ores that you can get from monsters. What these monsters are, are yet to be revealed. I have an inkling that the recently opened rooms in Reboldeaux and Coimbra, where there are soldiers inside who give quests, have something to do with this.

Once you get the ores, you can refine them. You can spend 1 mystery powder to refine it, or you can spend 200 reputation points. Both approaches do not guarantee getting the best jewels, though. They just give an avenue of how to get them.

There are other ways of refining, but they would yield jewels that are less powerful. I my opinion, I think these less powerful jewels are next to worthless because what you would want are the great jewels.

Among the great jewels, a friend mentioned he wants the one with Critical +7. That's the great bloodstone. It's refined from a red ore. So, we have to know which monsters to kill in which maps to get red ores.

I assume getting the great bloodtsone, and all the other great jewels, will be hard.

Jewels are called Rumins. So I guess a jewel is a rumin in the game.

Great rumins will be sought after when the socketing system will be released.

In other news, I'm waiting what halloween event there will be for Sword of the New World: Granado Espada

Fesos update: Exchange rate

Fesos is the new currency in Sword of the New World: Granado Espada.

Since Granado Espada has a spanish theme, the new currency is aptly named fesos. It's like Peso.

In Sword of the New World, there are mentions of cash shop items such as combat manuals and premium dungeons being included in the Feso shop.

The combat manual may be 40%.

And the premium dungeon may be the Forgotten Territory and the Ancient Territory. But this is still unconfirmed. I merely read about it in AM-Neume's forum post. It was still under negotiation with the Korean bosses.

Feso exchange rate will be US$1 = 100 Gold = 100,000 fesos

Will vis drop in value?

Will vis drop in value? I think yes.
So, if you sell your character or equipment now for vis, you better use that vis before feso comes out, or else your vis will drop in value.

But players would still buy weapons and armors using vis.

I want to play GE again!

YouTube video of the Feso Shop

Well, the rings are interesting. They are stance rings. There's a temporal Marionette ring! The sunglasses seem good too, even though it's only +ATK 5%. The costumes with stats maybe are worthwhile.
Once you max out all of your character's weapons and armor's stats, there's no where else to improve on except wearing these temporal rings and costumes.

Hmm... but it seems like when you kill a treasure monster, it will only give either 1 peso or 10 pesos. Few! Wait. It's 1,000 and 10,000 fesos. So, one stance ring is 300,000 fesos. That's equal to 300 or 30 kills...

Hmm... so let's see... RMT players who buy vis, they need feso instead to buy the stance rings and the numerous temporary costumes with stats. So, to get feso in large amounts, you need to buy GPoints and then convert it to feso. Or, trade your items for other people's fesos.

It might actually stop vis sellers a little.

So let's see... what will granadomart do... their sales of vis will be dropping because their usual customers want fesos instead. So how does granadomart provide fesos... Hmmm... maybe I'm not thinking right

So let's say a new player comes and buys G-Points. The newbie wants to get good armors and weapons. So, he buys premium items and sells them for vis. Or, he converts the G-Points to fesos.

What would make the newbie choose to convert it to fesos instead of vis?

Maybe if the high level players sell their unwanted items for fesos...

Deflation of armor and weapon prices?

Well, it could be the other way around. Old players might demand more fesos instead of selling their gears cheaply.

There's something wrong. I am assuming there's a conversion of G-Points to fesos. What if G-Points can't be converted to fesos? I have to research more on this.

Well, it seems like you need to buy FT and AT passes because there are more treasure monsters in those areas that give the stones that are exchangeable for fesos.

And according to what I read, there will be another premium dungeon. I wonder what it is.
